A Red Vampyre is a Red Fledgeling that has completed the change. Before becoming one they have to die. Their final Change into a mature Vampyre is more closely linked to the choice of good over evil.
Red Vampyres are unable to go into sunlight without burning, and are able to get into peoples minds and alter memories. This skill is not as strong in Red Fledglings. Red Vampyres feel more at home under the ground and "sleep like the dead" when the sun is up. When they need to feed on blood their eyes will glow red.
In this alternate universe, Red Vampires are on Kalona's side. If your Red Vampyre is on Nyx's side then provide a great explanation in their bio.

Blue Vampyres
Vampyre- defined as a supernatural creature that lives off the nourishment of blood. Vampyres or vampires are one of the supernatural creatures in the house of night series. The change from human to vampyre itself takes four years. As which the newborn vampyre is known as a "fledgling".
The change first takes place sometime after puberty is reached. The young adult having been marked by a tracker. Notices the sapphire outline of a "crescent moon appearing on their forehead". The appearence of the mark itself, is a symptom of a biological change that has begun with in the body. A fledgling will then begin to experience colds, chills, and coughs. Around the same time, the body secrets an invisable essence from the apocrine glands called "Alarm Pheromone". Which is only present at the beginning of the sequence of events of reactions. Left alone the fledgling will die. A gifted sect of vampyres known as Trackers, have the abillity to scent these Alarm Pheromones. As soon as the fledgling is in the presense of a Tracker, the preservation Pheromone, that only a Tracker secretes, begins to act on the young fledgling's T-Cell receptors , slowing down the degeneration of the body's pulmonary capillary system. The external evidence of this physiological reaction is the crescent sapphire outline that appears on the forehead.
However the Trackers preservation Pheromone creates only a temporary respite from the potentially fatal reaction that has already begun in the body, which is the reason why newly marked fledglings must make their way directly to a house of night. So that the Shield Pheromones, secreted by all adult vampyres, bathe the fledglings pulmonary and capillary systems. Which minimizes the unavoidable damage that takes place within the body as it attempts to assimilate the necessary changes that happen in order for the body to evolve to the physiology of a vampyre.
One out of ten fledglings on average does not make the change. And some even dying in their early sixth former year (Elliot). Those who do not make it, begin to show the signs quickly and easily. It is latter that these flegling or fledglings that have become Red fledgings are first shown in Marked( Elizabeth no last name and Elliot).
The common trait that all fledglings possess that identifies them as "fledglings" is that their cresent shaped sapphire tattoo on their forehead is un-filled. Fledglings also display some traits that are found in typical vampire lore. Their appreance, as vampyres, become enhanced (all vampyres at the house of night are much more attractive then humans). Their senses are very keen, they can smell blood as soon as it is in the air, their sense of sight is almost as good as a cats is at night. The rate which a vampyre heals is far faster. Phyiscal strength, reflexes, speed and stamina; suprasses the norm for humans. Vampyres, whether fledglings or adults, cannot go into sunlight, as it will cause them mental pain, headaces, ect. The sun will not burn them though, as it only causes them pain. That is why the classes, and the Houses of Night, are only active during the night.
At a House of Night, fledglings are constantly active and involed in physical activities (as a way to help their bodies accept the change toward becoming a adult vampire). At the House of Night, fledglings take courses that help then more learn about the changes they will be going throught from human to vampire as well as vampire traditions and rituals. As most imporatantly their Goddess Nyx.
As a sixth former, fledglings will have developed their taste for blood and it will finally becoming appealing to them.

SHIFTERS&WERES&WEREWOLVES&CHILDREN OF THE MOON
General Attributes
Shapeshifting shows at puberty for born shifters, weres, and children of the moon. Puberty means preteens, tweens. No one shifts at any age younger then that. That means 11 at the youngest! To produce a were, shifter, or children of the moon child, the child must be the oldest child, and both parents must be shifters or the same animal weres as well. Any form of a shapeshifter MUST change if they see the full moon during a full moon. Some can avoid changing if they stay inside during a full moon, but the full moon compells them to change and for most the urge is too strong. No young beingging shifters or just infected shifters can resist the urge to change during the full moon.
Shapeshifters
Full shapeshifters are extremely RARE. That means they won't be accepted and there will always be limited caps on them. They have the ability to shift to any animal at will, but must have an animal that they have imprinted on or model themselves after. They have a "go to" animal that they shift into most often. Unlike Children of the moon and other weres, they are not organized and hardly any of them have even met another shifter.
Weres/Werewolves
Weres can only turn into one animal. Only warmblooded unless you are given permission to make a cold blooded were. They can shift whenever they want. Werewolves are the most common shapeshifters. When someone says Were, they usually mean a werewolf. Werewolves are far superior to all other shifters. To breed a pure were, they must be of the same animal. I.E: A werewolf and a werewolf make a werewolf. A werewolf and a wererabbit make a human. Weres usually organize into packs and communities. They are very secretive and closed off. Most Were communities have their own hierarchy and laws. As well as rituals and culture. They can spread their condition if they bite enough times. Big animals such as tigers, bears and some other predators are extremely rare in the shifter world. Any other weres have a suffix of the animal they turn into. I.E: Werepanthers, Wererabbit, Weremonkey, Werefox, etcetera.
Children of The Moon
Children of the Moon are the werewolves of human horror movies. They shift into giant wolves the size of horses, but can only shift on a full moon. During their phases they are wild and crazed, they hunt in packs and will attack humans. A child of the moon only has to bite a human one time to infect them. They have no extra strength when they aren't in wolf form. When Children of the moon produce with a bitten COTM or a pure COTM or even a human, they have a 25% chance of passing the curse onto their offspring.
Bitten COTM/Weres
To be an impure were, you have to be bitten repeatedly by a pure were or shifter, whereas you only have to be bitten once by a COTM to be infected. Bitten weres can only change into the animal they were bitten by. Bitten weres never fully change into the animal they were bitten by. I.E: They still retain human qualities, a bitten werewolf would have a hairy body, paws, teeth, maybe a tail, ears, but still would be upright. Bitten COTM change into what a bitten werewolf would look like, except they cannot control themselves and go crazy during the full moon. Bitten weres and COTM can only shift during the full moon.

Angels are angels. They have wings that they can hide from human eyes. Every angel's wings are different. They can only be killed by a star shot (an arrow and bow made by angels). They serve God and God only. They disprove of Lucifer and do everything to stop him. They are faster and stronger than any human, vampyre, and shifter. They live forever so long they don't get shot by a star shot. They may love and serve god, and only god. If they fall in love, they are punished by falling from heaven.
Fallen angels are angels who have done something or another for god to punish them by falling them from heaven. They have the same abilities as angels do, accept they do not serve god. Some of them are because they agreed with Lucifer, but did not fight on his side or any side for that matter. Some fell in love and broke the rule of loving god and only god the most, some wanted to be human. Angels are always extremely beautiful/handsome. Angel's have a true form, that if humans see it they combust.

Demons are angels that fell from heaven for Lucifer's cause. They aren't all in hell, some stayed on earth and are not under lucifer's influence. They have the same attributes as angels. Blindness is a common attribute for Demons that have served time in hell.
